The Fender Showman was introduced in 1960 and discontinued in 1993. This is an early model Pre CBS "Blackface" model with the original Blackface AB763 circuit. Fender used the AB763 circuit from 1963 to 1967 and than changed to the Silverface circuit AB568 in 1968.
